What is Visualive?
Visualive is a digital media platform used by the community to promote and discover local events. Visualive users can submit an event poster as an image or a video promo from the Visualive website to a network of TVs located in popular bars, restaurants, and coffee spots throughout the city.
What is a Vibe?
Vibes are digital flyers used to publicize local happenings. Vibes are submitted by users to one or multiple Visualive TVs. Vibes also appear on the Visualive website so when viewers want to get additional information about a Vibe, it's easy to find.
How much does a Vibe cost?
Pricing varies based on the campaign type. Bulletin Board Plus costs $10/day and your Vibe is shown across the entire network on every Visualive TV in the city. If you choose a Billboard campaign, the cost breaks down to $2/day for each location you choose.
What are Visualive credits?
Credits are Visualive's very own currency. Purchase credits and spend them whenever you send a Vibe. 1 credit costs $1, but the more credits you buy, the less they cost — as low as 60¢ each!
What are the different Vibe options?
We want everyone to experience the ease of promoting an event on Visualive so we created an option for any budget. Free Bulletin Board Vibes are perfect for promoting small events, but your scheduling options and viewer reach are limited. The Bulletin Board Plus option will promote your event at every Visualive location for a low, flat rate. The Billboard option offers complete control of your campaign. More details
Where are Visualive TVs located?
Visualive TVs are installed in popular bars, restaurants, and coffee spots throughout the city. Inside, the TVs are mounted in main dining or bar areas, where you can be certain that people will see your Vibe.
What happens after I submit my Vibe?
Your Vibe goes through a quick approval process, which typically occurs within 20 minutes of your Vibe being posted. Once your Vibe is approved, it only takes about 10 minutes for it to be distributed across the network.
What type of events can I promote?
Visualive is open to a wide variety of events including concerts, festivals, theater, film screenings, gallery openings, comedy shows, competitions - that take place at a specific time and place and are open to the public. What file formats does Visualive support?
Vibes can be submitted as JPEG, BMP, or PNG images. Visualive also supports AVI, MPEG, WMV, and MOV videos. Having an issue trying to upload another format? Contact us and we'll make it work.
What is the recommended resolution of a Vibe?
For an image, the ideal Vibe is one that has a minimum resolution of 1024x768 (4:3) or 1280x720 (16:9). For a video, the ideal Vibe is one with a minimum resolution of 640x360.
Why was my Vibe not approved?
The most common reasons a Vibe may not be approved are providing misleading information, or low quality media. See the Vibe guidelines for more on how to create an ideal Vibe.
Why should my content be in high resolution?
A high resolution image is determined by its number of pixels - more pixels improve the sharpness of the image. High resolution content is required for a sharp presentation on our TVs.
Why can't I upload Vibes that are food and beverage related?
Since most of our TVs are in bars and restaurants, we typically do not accept food and beverage promotions to play across the network. However, Visualive is all about building an open community of users that will use the network in innovative ways.
